Privacy notice
This notice explains what we do with personal data on this website. It follows the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who is responsible
The controller for the personal data processed on this website is the provider named in the box at the end of this page. You can reach us at the email address shown there.
What happens when you visit
When you open this website, our server processes technically necessary data: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser and your operating system. A website cannot be delivered without this. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and reliably (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). This website is hosted by HOSTINGER operations, UAB, Švitrigailos str. 34, 03230 Vilnius, Lithuania, which processes these access records as our processor under our instructions. We delete these access records after seven days at the latest.
The waitlist and the newsletter
When you join the waitlist we process your email address together with the market and language you signed up for. We use this only to tell you when Wyld Notes launches in Europe, and afterwards to send occasional information about the fragrances.
Sign-up uses a confirmation step (double opt-in): we first send you an email with a confirmation link, and only once you click it are you added to the list — this keeps your consent verifiable. The lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time — through the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us. Withdrawal takes effect from that point and does not affect processing carried out beforehand. Once you withdraw, we delete your address.
We send these emails through Brevo (Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany), which acts as our processor under a written contract. See the Brevo privacy policy for details.
Your email address is not passed on to Wyld Notes.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 — only with your consent
We would like to see which pages people read, so we can make them better. For that we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).
Nothing is loaded before you consent. Until you agree, no measurement code is delivered, no cookie is set and no connection to Google is made. The script is only fetched after you accept in the notice at the bottom of the page.
The lawful basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR and regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations). You can withdraw it at any time — most easily via “Change cookie settings” in the footer of every page; you will then be asked again. Alternatively, clear your browser storage for this website. Data may be transferred to the United States; Google relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for this. See the Google privacy policy.
We also use Google Search Console, which shows us the search terms that lead people here. It does not measure anything in your browser and sets no cookies, so it needs no consent.
Storage in your browser
We store your analytics choice locally in your browser so that we do not have to ask again on every visit. This entry is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. It is strictly necessary to give effect to your choice.
Links to Wyld Notes
This website links to the Wyld Notes shop. Those links carry an identifier that tells Wyld Notes you came from us. The corresponding cookie is set in the Wyld Notes shop, not on this website, and is governed by their privacy policy. It does not tell us who you are — our affiliate statement only shows how many orders were placed.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- be told what personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data erased
- restrict how we use your data
- receive your data in a portable format
- object to processing based on legitimate interests
- withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future
An email to the address at the end of this page is enough.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, or at ico.org.uk.
